羽毛球比赛场馆内，对于座位( seats)有不同的叫法：在看台上，有主席台( VIP seats)、记者席(Seats for Press)、运动员席( Athletes'   Seats)和技术官员席（Seats for Technical O伍cials）；而在内场，必须有一个竞赛工作台（worHng platform）给需要在内场工作的所有工作人员，包括官方管理机构人员坐席( organizers)以及仲裁（aIbit:rators）、竞赛管理（match control）、医生（medical officials）、器
材管理（equipment control）、比赛用球管理（shuttle control）、场地管理( FOP cordinators)和广播员(announcers)等人员的坐席，还应特别有方便出入的裁判长席（Referees' Seats）、临场执裁的技术官员座位(umplres’chairs，service judges chairs，linejudges' chairs)、临场指导的教练员席( Coaches'  Seats)等等。
   

　　各个坐席的安排不能随意，必须在赛前根据场地布置以及比赛进退场的流线等来进行，否则就会使整个比赛场面显得混乱，甚至影响比赛。一旦确定了比赛场地的功能方位之后，就要立即确定所有的座位安
排，这是大型赛事不可忽视的—个重要部分。
 

　　Referee: Since four courts have been set, let's discuss about the location of　the working platform.
 

　　裁判长：4块场地已经确定，我们来讨论一下工作台的位置吧。
 

　　Organizer: That's what we want t0.
 

　　承办单位：我们也是这个意思。
 

　　Referee: This door leads to the referees’and umpires'lounges and the room　for match control as well, we can put the working platform in this place, no　far from this door.
 

　　裁判长：这个门通到裁判长、裁判员休息室和编排室，我们就把工作台放在离门不远的这个地方好了。
 

　　Organizer: How many seats we need to put for the platform?

 

　　承办单位：工作台需要多少座位？
 

　　Referee: We have enough space here, we can put two rows. Is there any　power charging here?
 

　　裁判长：这里地方足够，我们就摆两排吧。这里有电源吗？
 

　　Organizer: Out of question. We have sufficient power supply inside the　venue.
 

　　承办单位：没问题，场馆内有足够的电源。
 

　　Referee: Fantastic. The rare row we need the desks for six persons and the　front one should be enough for ten.
 

　　裁判长：太好了。后面一排的桌子要够6个人的座位，前面一排的桌子要能有10个座位。
 

　　Organizer: No problem.Are there any specialrequests?
 

　　承办单位：没问题，有什么特别的要求吗？
 

　　Referee: We need to have the desks covered by table cloth in dark color and　make them look nice.
 

　　裁判长：要有深色的桌布将桌子盖起来，这样好看些。
 

　　Organizer: OK. We've already prepared for that.
 

　　承办单位：好的，我们都准备了。
 

　　Referee: We also need one desk with two chairs on the far side ofthe venue　for the referees, so we can take care of the other two courts during the　toumament．
 

　　裁判长：还需要在场馆另一端放一张桌子和两把椅子，以便裁判长在比赛中处理那边两块场地的事务。
 

　　Organizer: Yes,we see. We did the same last year.
 

　　承办单位：好的，明白。去年我们就这么做了。
 

　　Referee:lknow you are quite experienced.
 

　　裁判长：我知道你们很有经验。
