根据世界羽联所制定的规程( regulation)条款15.1，一般情况下世界羽联1-4级(Level l-4)的比赛，单打赛在进行了抽签之后是不能有替补的。但在一些对每个会员国有参赛名额限制的比赛( in toumaments with nationally restricted entry)中，由于该国原来参赛的运动员因伤病或其他不可避免的原因不能参赛时，在开赛前提出可以由该会员国排名低于( ranking lower)原参赛运动员的队员替补参赛（规程15.4）。而双打比赛中，除可由一对排名低于原参赛选手的运动员替补参赛的情况外，根据规程15.5，如双打的队员中有—个因伤病或其他原因不能参赛时，在不影响其他参赛队员的情况下，可以由一名来自于任何国家的队员配对参赛（the remaining player to have a substitute partner from any Member Association, provided the constitution ofno other pair is affected)。在这种情况发生时，该队的领队（team manager）就会在领
队会上( team managers'  meeting)．或是赛前跟裁判长沟通此事。

　　Referee: The singles or the doubles?
 

　　裁判长：是单打还是双打？
 

　　Team Manager: One is Jane, who had been drawn in 24 0f the women'S singles.

　　Referee: What'S the reason for her to withdraw?.
 

　　裁判长：她为什么要弃权？
 

　　Team Manager: She broke her leg yesterday; here is the doctor'S  diagnosis.
 

　　领队：昨天她把腿伤了，这里有医生的诊断书。
 

　　Referee: Oh, she is the No.3 seed. Who will replace her?.
 

　　裁判长：哦，她是3号种子呢，谁来替她？
 

　　Team Manager: Sherina Bon, the youngest girl player of our team, who is ranking much lower.
 

　　领队：莎琳娜·伯恩，我们队里最小的那个女孩，排名很后的。
 

　　Referee: OK.1 will inform her opponent soon
 

　　裁判长：好的，我要尽快通知她的对手。
 

　　Team Manager: Thanks! Another is to substitute one of the pair in men'S double. They are No.12. in the draw. Sam Johnson will replace York to play with Jim. York has ta fever.
 

　　领队：谢谢！另一个是换男双的一个队员。他们是签表上的12号。山姆·约翰森替约克跟吉姆配。约克发烧了。
 

　　Referee: Let me mark them and inform the others.
