国际赛事的举办地都是由承办方提出申请并进行投标而确定的，因此各项比赛会在不同的国家或地区的不同场馆来进行。赛前，参赛运动队以及球员都希望提前进行适应性训练( practice)；比赛期间，各队也会在没有比赛的时候申请训练场地。因此，每逢比赛，组委会都会在赛前和赛中为各队安排训练场地( practice
courts)。一般情况下，赛前会按各队预先告知的到达时间安排训练场地，由裁判长或是编排（match control）事先做好计划，在各队报到时发放给各队领队。但往往也会有特殊情况发生，各领队会找到裁判长
问训练的安排，或是提出不同的要求。
 

　　Coach:  Referee, can we have some timemore to practice?
 

　　教练：裁判长，我们的训练时间能否再长点？
 

　　Referee:I am sorry; the time has beenfully booked for all the courts in the main　venue
 

　　裁判长：对不起，主场馆的场地都已经安排满了。
 

　　Coach: We have more players this time and two hours is not enough for us.
 

　　教练：我们这次有这么多队员，两个小时的时间太短了。
 

　　Referee:I understand that, but we have to arrange the time for all teams.
 

　　裁判长：我理解，但我们得给每个队安排练习啊。
 

　　Coach:  I see, But can you consider our actual situation?
 

　　教练：我知道，但你是否能照顾我们的实际情况呢？
 

　　Referee: Let me check. Maybe we can discuss with the Macao team whether they can share you some time as they only have two players.
 

　　裁判长：我查查看。也许我们可以跟澳门队商量一下，他们只有两名队员参赛，也许他们能分你们一些时间呢。
 

　　Coach:  od! Thank you very much.
 

　　教练：太好了！非常感谢！
 

　　Referee:I will let you know the result soon after l talk to them.
 

　　裁判长：我跟他们谈过之后会在第一时间给你回话。
 

　　Coach: Thanks!
 

　　教练：谢谢！
